Work Experience

• Collaborated with a 10-member team to plan, promote, execute and participate in 10 campus events with a total of over 800 attendees.

• Communicated with 8 business contacts, agencies and campus units, for event logistics, promotion, tech, and execution and developed 5 event proposals and budgets

• Analyzed data from a survey with over 400 data points to better understand student preferences (Music Survey – SDSU UPC F22).

1. Jacks Mic Night FA22 – Nov 3, 2023

   • Proposed the event to the UPC, prepared and presented the forecasted budget

   • Reserved the venue, and made arrangements with the university’s tech crew on venue layout, sound, lighting, and supporting technology.

   • Provided consistent and useful feedback to Blue Print designers on the promotional materials alongside the new Concerts Coordinator

   • Promoted the event by tabling in the Union Building, distributing handout filers, and speaking with students

   • Performed 3 songs at the event with my best friend

2. Jacks Got Talent (D Day) – Oct 25, 2023

   • Promoted the event by tabling in the Union Building, distributing handout filers, and speaking with students

   • Prepared, Rehearsed, and Performed a cover medley of 5 songs at the event

3. Great Plains Zoo (Zoo Boo) – Oct 15th, 2023

   • Set up and clipped 2 long streams of led lights alongside fences at the zoo with instructions and insights from the zoo’s operators

   • Laid out, put up decorations, and tested the zoo’s carousal with Halloween-themed materials alongside more than 15 volunteers

4. The Roads Below – Oct 12th

   • Continued planning of the event from the previous Concerts Coordinator

   • Collaborated with, and provided consistent and useful feedback to Blue Print designers on the event’s promotional materials

   • Reserved the event venue, and maintained communication with the artists and entertainment agency through emails

   • Reserved the venue, and made arrangements with the university’s tech crew on venue layout, sound, lighting, and supporting technology.

   • Executed the event, and distributed more than 50 copies of the band’s music CDs to the audience

5. Family Weekend Dueling Guitar – Sept 30th

   • Promoted the event through tabling with students at the Student Union Building

   • Executed the event, and collaborated with the attendees to collect, and deliver song requests to the artists (Dueling Guitars)

   • Participated in impromptu dance performance during the event

6. Jacks Got Talent Audition – Sep 19th

   • Executed the event alongside two other Coordinators

7. Student Engagement Expo – Aug 21st

   • Tabled for the UPC, and promoted our upcoming events to students

   • Met with and introduced students to the UPC and our upcoming events

8. Welcome Back Bash – Aug 19th

   • Moved & set up snack machines with our team

9. Meet State Move-in-Day – Aug 19th

   • Helped freshmen move stuff into Binnewies hall alongside a team of other students

   • Prepared and correctly labeled student belongings using stickers and room numbers

   • Protected 5 sets of belongings with a waterproof tarp during the rainfall

10. Be the Light 5k Color Run/Walk – Apr 30th, 2022

    • Distributed & dispensed 2 powdered colors, and cleaned up after.

    • Arranged and tabled t-shirts, necklace beads, and snacks for the event
